Luce is a strong, solid, easy to maintain material produced by glazing lava or stoneware slabs, according to thickness and colour shade requirements, with handcrafting techniques.
The luminous, translucent colours, laid with manual processes, allow to perceive, through their shades, the porosity and imperfections of the stone.

This technical material suitable for the outdoor use, resulting in gentle hues, comes from extensive experimentation.
It is hand-made using a mixture of limestone, clay, inert materials, and colours.
Any small surface imperfections (stains, porosity, thin surface cracks due to the settling of the piece) are characteristics of the handcraft processing and do not affect the quality of the product.
This material is treated to limit the absorption of liquids and greasy substances and to have velvety surfaces that are pleasant to the touch.

The Glaze tops and shelves are obtained by manually glazing molded porcelain stoneware elements. The possible slight differences in colour and appearance between one surface and another are unpredictable and are the value and the distinctive feature of a completely hand-crafted workmanship. As to maintain Glaze quality over time, simply clean the surfaces regularly with a damp cloth.

Opus vetro, Opus ceramica

The tops and the products in Opus are made with a mixture of limestone and clay and are hand-decorated with a modern mosaic in recycled glass or ceramic fragments.
Inside the larger items, an aluminium honeycomb is used to enhance its stability and resistance. Both version of Opus are treated to limit the absorption of liquids and greasy substances.

This entirely manual process, made by Alessandra Malfatti in Paola Lenti exclusive colours, is the contemporary interpretation of an ancient art, which implies that superimposed layers of enamel blend through a high temperature firing process to create transparencies, opacities and oxidations.

The surfaces in Esmal enameled copper require a regular cleaning, every day if needed depending on the condition of use, with a moist cloth and eventually neutral detergent.
Never use abrasive brushes or tools, bleaching agents or solvents.

Amoriana surfaces are crafted using a traditional technique in which irregularly shaped glass blocks are fused to create a compact slab of substantial thickness.

The low-impact production process makes use of reclaimed glass, renewing its value while reducing the need for new raw materials.

Each top produced through this process features distinct variations in overall hue and in the proportions of colour that shape its design. The conscious choice to work with a raw material that carries its own “history” — complete with inclusions and impurities originating from earlier production processes— means that areas of colour, sometimes markedly different from the prevailing tone, may appear across the surface or within its depth.

These characteristics are the result of a highly artisanal process. They do not compromise the product’s aesthetic or structural qualities; rather, they define its character, becoming its distinctive and inimitable signature. Each Amoriana top is therefore a unique and unrepeatable piece.

To preserve its quality over time, simply clean the surface regularly with a damp cloth.
